The Ultimate Adrenaline Experience - City or Mountain Flights
Through Lao Flying Media we offer 15 minute city flights or our own Namthip paramotor flights over the mountains for 20 minutes!
First, city flights. These flights give a great introduction to paramotors and a unique view of Vang Vieng city. You will be picked up from your hotel and taken for a briefing at the take off point.
Then you will fly over the town taking in a unique perspective of the Nam Song river and various landmarks from Vang Vieng.
Your flight includes safety equipment, briefing, cetificate and GoPro recording.
Second, moutain flights. These are the extended paramotor option. Instead of seeing the city you will end up circling stunning mountains, Blue Lagoon and Nam Xay viewpoint from the skies.
Soar over the magnificent lime karsts that help to make Vang Vieng such a beautiful destination. Float over rice fields and villages for 20 minutes. Spot trekkers on top of the viewpoints!
Sunrise & Sunset Flights
You may notice that some adverts for paramotors state morning and evening. Many passengers assume this means sunrise and sunset but the paramotors often fly after the sun has risen and before it sets.
With Namthip Paramotors you can witness the real sunset and sunrise in Vang Vieng. Fly early to see the sun rising for the day as the darkness lifts to wash Vang Vieng in sunlight.
Alternatively, take a real sunset flight and enjoy the magical part of the day as the sun sets behind the stunning mountains out past the Nam Song River.
Please note, the city flights fly at different times. Real sunset and real sunrise apply to Namthip Paramotors flying over the mountains.
The whole package is much more than just the flight. You will receive a briefing before the flight. A certficate after landing. And, you will enjoy be able to take a GoPro recording of your flight away.
Safety First
We want all our passengers to have a wonderful and fun experience regardless of which activity they choose.
But, safety is our absolute priority. We are approved by the Lao Civil Aviation Authority. All our paramotors are western standard and regularly undergo checks and maintenance.
All pilots are licensed and certified. They are trained professionals and very experienced aviators. They also speak several languages to ensure communication is clear and reassuring.
